The European Commission has launched a public consultation for the preparation of a sustainable bioenergy policy for the period after 2020. The objective of the survey is to consult stakeholders and citizens on an updated EU policy on sustainable bioenergy for the period 2020-2030, as part of the EU renewable energy package foreseen before the end of 2016. The consultation period runs from 10 February 2016 to 10 May 2016.
All relevant stakeholders and citizens are invited to take part in the survey and particularly EU and Member States’ authorities, energy market participants and their associations, SMEs, energy consumers and NGOs. The responses can be submitted here.
